Many of these shows encourage audience participation, often culminating in a lively group dance or a samba-style conga line. It’s a light-hearted, tourist-friendly way to experience Turkish culture while in Cappadocia.
Your ticket includes transportation to and from your hotel, entrance to the show, a full dinner, unlimited drinks, and, of course, the performance itself. Shows are held every evening, typically concluding around 9:30 PM.

The evening kicks off with live music, followed by a procession of Turkish folk dancers. The show features a reenactment of a traditional Turkish wedding, with the bride adorned in a stunning red dress. After a series of folk dances from different regions of Turkey, the highlight of the night appears: the belly dancer. The performance continues with exciting acts like fire dances, a dramatic Caucasian knife dance, and a thrilling drum show.
Some of the most beloved Turkish folk dances include “Çayda Çıra” from Central Anatolia, where young women in gold-embroidered kaftans dance in the dark holding lit candles. The “Silifke Yoğurdu” from the South Mediterranean features dancers clacking wooden spoons above their heads. “Şeyh Şamil” from Eastern Turkey dramatizes the legend of a Caucasian hero, while “Kılıç Kalkan” from the Northwest is a powerful dance performed with swords and shields.
The “Zeybek” is an epic, vigorous dance from the Aegean region, performed by male dancers who rhythmically strike their knees to the ground between steps.
