Day 1: Arrival Cappadocia & North Tour
You’ll visit; Devrent Valley - Pasabag (Monk’s Valley) - Avanos - Goreme and Open Air museum
You'll start your day by embarking on a journey to Cappadocia. Your adventure begins with a transfer from your hotel to the airport, where you'll catch a short flight. Upon arrival, a friendly representative from Turkey Istanbul Tours will greet you at the airport's exit gate, holding a sign bearing your name.
Your exploration of Cappadocia will take you to enchanting destinations, including the captivating Devrent Valley with its extraordinary rock formations, the unique Pasabag Valley, also known as Monk's Valley, and the charming town of Avanos. You'll also have the opportunity to discover the breathtaking landscapes of Goreme and its remarkable Open Air Museum, where ancient churches and dwellings carved into soft rocks stand as a testament to early Christian history.
Once your tour concludes, you'll be transferred back to your hotel to unwind and relax. Enjoy your overnight stay in Cappadocia, reminiscing about the day's fascinating discoveries.
Day 2: South Tour & Cappadocia Departure
You’ll visit; Red and Rose Valley - Gulludere Valley - Cavusin Village Kaymakli (or Ozkonak) Underground City - Ortahisar - Uchisar Castle - Pigeon Valley - Three Beauties Valley
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel before being picked up by your knowledgeable tour guide. Your adventure commences with the Southern Cappadocia Tour, where you'll encounter the renowned rock churches nestled in the Red and Rose Valley. These mesmerizing formations showcase a kaleidoscope of colors that change throughout the day. Prepare for a bit of hiking as you venture through the picturesque Gulludere Valley.
Next, delve into the rich history of the old Greek Cavusin Village, where you'll explore the ancient houses and churches once inhabited by Christian clergy, including Saint John the Baptist and Nicophoras Phocas. In the afternoon, you'll uncover the mysteries of Kaymaklı or Ozkonak Underground City, the broadest of its kind in Cappadocia, historically used as a refuge for those fleeing disasters.
Then, ascend to the summit of Uchisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia, offering panoramic vistas of the region's iconic fairy chimneys. Pause to capture stunning photos before proceeding to Pigeon Valley, renowned for its unique pigeon houses and picturesque views overlooking Uchisar Castle.
Conclude your journey with a visit to Three Beauties Valley, famed for its vineyards and breathtaking scenery. At day's end, you'll be escorted to Cappadocia Airport for your return flight to Istanbul.
